Christmas Carnival

We hold several regular yearly events the main one is our Christmas Carnival which is getting bigger and better every year.  Next year this will be held on 4th December 2010 commencing at 4pm until 11pm.

We also hold The Cecil Plains Hook-Up fishing competition when we have water in the Condamine River.

During the Jondaryan yearly "Heritage Week" we run a hot food stall for the 10 days and our speciality is for hot chips, toasted sandwiches, savory mince rolls, hot dogs and salad rolls. We invite local community clubs to participate and share the profit per hour of work per club. This gives small clubs the opportunity to raise fund for there needs  otherwise not possible

Our motto is:  not asking what our community can do for us, but " WHAT CAN WE DO FOR OUR COMMUNITY"

We are the Lions

We meet the needs of our local communities and the world.

Our 1.3 million men and women in 205 countries and geographic areas conduct vision and health screenings, build parks, support eye hospitals, award scholarships, assist youth, provide help in time of disaster and much more.

We currently have 25 members of both sexes and would like to have more so Join us in making our communities and the world better places to live.  We meet on the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month at the Victory Hotel, Taylor Street, Cecil Plains 4407 from about 6.45pm - 8.30pm. where you can have a meal or drink with fellow Lions during the meeting.
